The Ideal City of Leonardo
Collective photographic homage to the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, five hundred years after the death of the great artist.
An ambitious project focused around the Leonardo architect / urban planner and his “Ideal City”, composed of photographic works by authors from all over the world, on existing subjects of Leonardesque architecture and works freely inspired by the theme of the Ideal City.
The multidisciplinary project, developed as part of the Trieste Photo Days 2019 festival, includes a collective photographic exhibition curated by Massimo Premuda at the DoubleRoom exhibition space, a photographic book overseen by Edoardo Villata, professor of Modern Art History at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, and a conference on Leonardo’s Ideal City by Villata himself.
